In 1951, Reuben and Betty Littau bought their first angus cows. Over the years, their operation received numerous accolades, including being recognized by the American Angus Association as a 50 year historic herd in 2005. Their sons, LeRoy and Bob, carried on the family legacy of raising cattle with maternal excellence and exceptional performance.

In 2016, LeRoy’s oldest son Ty, moved home to ranch after working on Capitol Hill to start a family.  He married Cody in 2018. They currently have two daughters, Lily and Rozlyn. In 2020, Littau Land and Cattle launched. Littau Land and Cattle combines their passion for regenerative agriculture with LeRoy’s wisdom for breeding quality angus cattle.

We build on years of maternal Littau angus genetics with outcrosses that prioritize low inputs, longevity, and performance. Each year, our goal is not to bring you passing trends focused solely on performance numbers, but to provide you with sound, easy fleshing cattle that produce quality daughters you’ll want to keep.

Here at Littau Land and Cattle, you will find a belief in the fundamentals of a profitable cow and a program committed to producing animals with staying power. We hold an annual yearling bull sale in the spring and offer bred heifers in the fall. If you’re tired of bulls built for the bunk and cows that crumble before they cash flow, request a catalog.  Please feel free to reach out to us anytime.

Warm wishes,

LeRoy, Ty, and Cody Littau
